Virtual Drone Tours

Our FPV (first person view) virtual drone tours offer a unique (and extremely immersive) way for you to transform the way your product is shown to customers and visitors. Optimised to excel both on your website and social media channels, these tours create a feeling of presence that similar traditional video formats can’t match.

Safety First, Always

We get it, it’s understandable if you’re apprehensive about having a drone fly around your property. However, you can rest assured we’ve taken all the steps to mitigate risks with the best equipment use and stringent safety measures implemented.

  1. Advanced Equipment: Our lightweight (sub 250g) micro drones feature guarded propellers that allow us to fly around people and property safely.

  2. Expert Operators: Our skilled drone ops have years of experience under their belts and have had the necessary training required to complete the flights safely.

  3. Comprehensive Risk Assessments: We’ll work with your team to discuss any areas of your site that might fall within a flight restriction zone, or areas that require particular caution and care. Risk assessments are carried out prior to site visits and on-site checks are completed before every flight.

Tailored to Your Needs

We craft each virtual drone tour around the unique layout of your site, and how you want to best present your brand and tell your story. We’ve produced a staged process that’s designed to make the most of our time on site and for you to get the highest quality content from the day. Here’s our process.

  • Creative consultation: Holly, our aerial producer, will meet with you (either on site or virtually) to understand your vision and objectives, while also being on hand to answer any questions and queries you might have. Book an initial chat with Holly here.

  • Site recce: A reconnaissance day allows us to familiarise ourselves with your site and discuss specific safety and operational concerns, while also planning an engaging flight route.

  • Filming day:  Filming takes between 3 and 5 hours depending on site size. The first part of the day is spent testing signal between the operator and the drone, with a few test flights and then the filming can begin working off our storyboard and choreographed route that we’ve created with you.

  • Post-production begins: Our editors work their magic, cutting the footage together with sound (music, voiceover – or both), transitions and any graphics that you might want.

case study: Tullibardine Distillery

Tullibardine Distillery asked us to create an unforgettable engaging video for their customers to promote their distillery and in person tours. After a scoping call, we put together a brief to create a package of aerial content to best meet their marketing needs.

The brief was for the master edit to blend seamlessly from the pagodas of Tullibardine’s exterior, through the various stages of whisky production to take the viewer on the journey that an in-person tour would take. Our virtual drone tours are often used by clients as accessibility aids, as marketing materials for silent periods when there is a pause in production or for use to best describe their space visually and what they do.

As part of the package, we created a series of engaging shorts that could be used on their social media channels as reels, taking direction from the marketing team on areas where they wanted to focus attention. We also delivered on our offer capturing high resolution aerial stills of the distillery site and stunning video shorts of the exterior using our cinematic DJI Inspire 3 drone which Tullibardine can use on their website, marketing materials and social channels.
